‘Lineup is crazy’ Star players Yang Hyo-jin, Kim Su-ji, and Kim Hee-jin feature in 김연경의 국립대학교 retirement game [Official Announcement].

‘Volleyball Empress’ 김연경 retirement match for the national team is attended by some of the most accomplished women’s volleyball players in the world.

An announcement was made by the Korea Volleyball Association on the 24th, which stated, “On Saturday, June 8th, players participating in the ‘김연경 National Team Retirement Game’ and ‘National Team Retirement Ceremony’ hosted by the Korea Volleyball Association and co-hosted by Ryan@&Next Creative at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.”

The statement that was made officially said that the lineup had been verified.
A total of twelve athletes, including 김연경, Kim Su-ji, Myeong-ok Lim, Song-i Han, and Yeon-ju Hwang, are a member of the “TEAM Korea” squad. The team is directed by Kim Hyeong-sil, a former coach who was in charge of the women’s national team at the London Olympics in 2012. Twelve players, including Yang Hyo-jin, Bae Yu-na, Kim Hee-jin, Kim Hae-ran, and Ko Eun Lee, will take part in the competition. The competition will be led by previously employed coach Lee Jeong-cheol, who was also the coach of the national squad.

Beginning at 12:30 on June 8, fans will be allowed to enter the stadium. Prior to the start of the retirement game, pre-ceremony festivities, which include opening ceremonies and player introductions, will take place for a period of two hours, from 14:00 to 16:00.

Both the presentation of a youth scholarship to 김연경 and the national team retirement ceremony for 김연경, who played for the national team for sixteen years and was the driving force behind elevating the national prestige of Korean volleyball, are scheduled to take place immediately after the conclusion of the game. The ceremony is expected to last for approximately thirty minutes.
